Pre-requisites for Dynamic Security Testing

Here are the pre-requisites from the application team before starting the application security testing.

• The URL of the application.
• Valid credentials to access the application (if applicable)
• Test data
• Identifying the SPOC (Point of contact from the application team)
• Meeting with the stakeholders (QA Team Members)
• To understand the design, functionality and workflow of the application, a walkthrough of the application
